Does any body know how to change the back 3 spark plugs on a V6 3L Renault Grande Espace year 51 with out dropping the engine. Any Renault Technicians out thereHow to change spark plugs on a 51 Renault Espcae 3L V6?
I can't believe that a service item like a plug change would require engine removal, no car designed in the last 40 years should be this way. Belts, chains perhaps, but not filters or plugs.
I'm no mechanic, but my wifes Focus has a large plastic valance just in front of the windscreen under the bonnet. This would have to be removed to replace the battery for example. I suppose your car, with its large capacity, transverse engine, could have the rear bank hidden under some sort of removable cover?
Is it worth investing in a Haynes manual?
Addendum: I'm not really sure where you expect this question to go. If you've already asked a Renault tech guy, what are you expecting from anyone else? How to change spark plugs on a 51 Renault Espcae 3L V6?
hello dennis try using a few extensions and wobbly adapters, i havent had the luxary of doing me self but i have a strong feeling if u took it to the garage they would proberbly use adapters etc
AH but the joy of owning a french car. I dont know what planet they originated from, but if an ex renault technician said so then probably so. Ive had some real bears though that ive been able to put on a lift and reach up from the bottom and remove them blind with an odd assortment of adapters. They werent Renaults though.
