How Do I Change Spark Plugs On A Renault Megane?? please help?

Hi there

Hope someone can help me. I need to change the spark plugs on my Renault Megane 03 reg, as the car seems to be misfiring ive changed the coils and can see the spark plugs but how do i get to them? they seem like they are to far down to reach..Also if any one knows if there could be any other problems as to why my car is misfiring it would help. the warning engine light flashes sometimes and at low speed the car really runs bad like its going to stall but at a faster speed it seems ok. i would take it to a garage but funds are a bit low at the moment.

Thank you to anyone that could help....How Do I Change Spark Plugs On A Renault Megane?? please help?
You need to use a spark plug socket with two short extensions, try to use the spark plug socket that has a rubber ring on the inside to hold the spark plug securely as its a long drop from the top of the engine cover to the bottom of the hole for the spark plug.

Importantly when you have all four spark plugs out, look at the condition of the ends of the spark plug as this will give a good indication of what problems there is within the engine.

All four spark plugs should look more or less the same with a light gray deposit coating the ends of the electrodes.

The plug gap should be more or less the same of all four. How Do I Change Spark Plugs On A Renault Megane?? please help?
If you lived in portland or. I would do what I could! There are so many things that could cause this,My best answer is get a friend, neighbor, DAD! to help you. IMM TRULY SORRY!! MERRILL!
Spark plug socket, 6 inch extention and a ratchet are all you need to reach the plugs. if you have changed out the coil pack you will most likely have solved the misfire problem. finish off the plugs and you should be set.
buy your spark plugs, and buy a spark plug tool at the same time, this way you will be sure your tool fits the spark plug, as there can be two sizes.

or buy a socket set ,they usually have a spark plug removal tool/socket in them.

just be careful taking them out and putting them in, usually the heads are aluminum, make sure you don't cross thread them. or over tighten them
hi there if you are going to change the plugs you need long nose plyers to get them out just loosen them as normal them putthe plyer in the hole to pull them out ,i would get the air mass sensor and the lambda sensor checked as well or go th a garage and ask them to put the computer on them it will tell you what the problem is or just get them to reset the light

hope this helps
Take em out and put the new ones in simple init
haynes manual?
