Mitsubishi Galant 1999 v6 motor how to change spark plugs?

ok i have a misubishi galant 1999 v6 that runs on gas... and its gettin all slugish and a friend suggested for me to change the spark plugs....well i am a fan on cars and i thought it was gonna be easy but when i opened the hood i noticed that the other 3 plugs which are on the other side is covered by the cylindersand are unaccesible and i alo figured the i have to take the top of the engine off.... i can experiment with it sure but i dont want to ruin the engine does anyone who is more experienced thatn i am have any possible and safe way to change te spark plugs i just need a manual to buy or like a web site or maybe a detailed axplanation will di but i dont think any of u would like to write a detailed 200 word walkthrough and waste time so please suggest me wut to do ... and the choice of going to a mechs sop and having them changes for 170 bucks is outta the picture thanks to yall out there...please help

Any autoparts store will have, or can order, a Chilton's or Haynes manual for your car. Either one will be very beneficial to have even if you do take your car to a shop. These manuals have pictures and step by step instructions, just for your car.
